In the picture, from left to right are Charlotte, Sofie and Ellinor, 3 high school students from Agelholm, Sweden, who arrived yesterday in Guatemala to implement a project with the elementary school of the Maya village of Santa Cruz in Baja Verapaz, Guatemala.
The project consists of the construction of a much needed extra rum, which will be named Angelholm in appreciation of the kind people of the town who contributed to make this project a reality, and the delivery of 3 computers & 3 printers, materials for physical education classes, the acquisition of a cow (or a few goats) and fruit trees. The prupose is to connect the children of the school with the rest of the world via internet and to improve their nutritional intake and their health.
Thank you Charlotte, Sofie and Ellinor. We look forward to your news and pictures from Guatemala.
