Dear members and friends,
We were contacted over a year ago by two young Swedish female engineers. They requested our assistance in implementing a project consisting of the construction of a girls' school in a little maya village of Sololá in Guatemala. Being that we had already worked successfully with one of these engineers when she was a high school student, we were happy to provide all the help we possibly could, which mostly translated into creating and/or putting together legal contracts to ensure that everything would run smoothly and within the frame of these wonderful young women's project. With this purpose, our treasurer visited Guatemala and the construction site from the 8th to the 15th of February, 2016.
Here are the young Swedish engineers with some of the students that will benefit from the project.
Our treasurer with the two engineers and the mothers of some of the beneficiaries.

At the construction site with the school's superintendent and two of the construction workers.
