We take this opportunity to inform that the contact initiated with us by 2 young Swedish engineers 2 years ago, has resulted in a school for Maya Tzutuhil girls in San Juan La Laguna. You can see the befor- and-after pictures in the following link:

It was wonderful to contrubute to this fantistic project. We thank these young engineers for their efforts on behalf of the Guatemalans in need.   

We contributed to a construction project in Guatemala

Dear members and friends,
We were contacted over a year ago by two young Swedish female engineers. They requested our assistance in implementing a project consisting of the construction of a girls' school in a little maya village of Sololá in Guatemala. Being that we had already worked successfully with one of these engineers when she was a high school student, we were happy to provide all the help we possibly could, which mostly translated into creating and/or putting together legal contracts to ensure that everything would run smoothly and within the frame of these wonderful young women's project. With this purpose, our treasurer visited Guatemala and the construction site from the 8th to the 15th of February, 2016.

Our Biennial meeting took place on the 25th of October, 2015.

Hello dear members and friends!

We're trying to get back to work with our association. To that end, we held our biennial meeting at the Ceder Café in Malmö. The pictures below were taken during the meeting, which was preceded by a lunch that consisted of delicous Lebanese delicacies.  The following members were elected to the new Board for a period of two years (November 2015-September 2017):
